Happy Sunday after Ascension Day!

We have great sermons from Bishops Jerry and Roy, as well as Revs Jack and Bryan.  Each is different,  I am aware I say that most Sundays, but that is because it is true.  I think it is even more true today, but you can be the judge.

There are a lot of people who need your prayers, in particular Shamu, Bob and Matt.  Spend some time praying, please.  Please pray also for all our countries around the world that their governments might properly assess the Covid danger and act accordingly.

Tomorrow is Memorial Day, the day we remember those who have given their lives in defense of our freedoms.  Please take a bit of time to reflect on the sacrifices made on your behalf before you give up any of that precious freedom.

There is a great week ahead, with the help of the Holy Ghost you can find it, but you have to invite Him into your heart.

Your sins shall find you out - a Devotion for 15 November 2023, Anno Domini

     H IS  own  iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins.   (Proverbs 5:22)               The prophet inquires of the Lord, ‘Why do the wicked prosper?’   1  Righteous art thou, O LORD, when I plead with thee: yet let me talk with thee of thy judgments: Wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper? wherefore are all they happy that deal very treacherously?   (Jeremiah 12:1)  Solomon explains the wicked are held by the cords of their own sinful imaginations and sins.               The imaginations of men’s hearts are always more and more wicked. “  And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually .”  (Genesis 6:5)  The ‘self-will’ of man is that which many erroneously label as ‘free will’  - a term that does not appear in Holy Scripture.
